This past weekend was the California Blacksmith Association's 2017 Spring Conference at the Vista Forge which is at the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum in Vista, California.
So I went to watch demo's and see friends - which would also be a part of my farewell tour.
The gallery was great - it is where people had items they made on display. Some of these items were for sales, others were not.
Then there were demo's and people were partaking in workshops which you could also watch... and there was what I call the performance project. This was the making of a sun-dial and the work started on Friday but on Saturday the participating blacksmiths finished it. Some of the video's are of this.
