Several months ago I used my hydraulic press to make a key fob for me. Then, over the winter break, I made a fob for my BFF - Elisa of Scotland. It was during one of our chats she mentioned that her husband, Mike, was quite impressed and thus we decided to surprise him, with his own. I selected the owl since Mike is a wise man and would be quite thrilled to have this. It took a few weeks, in-between classes and home work to press it and cut it into an oval shape; I thought it looked balance versus being a round fob. I then, after several tries, formed the frame and loop which were soldered on; followed by polishing. It was mailed to Scotland last Saturday and should get there sometime next week. I expect to hear sounds of glee soon.
